Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream Colada

Craving something sweet and easy? It doesn’t get better than this Strawberries and Cream Colada! Inspired by a classic strawberry colada, this dessert cocktail uses Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream strawberry liqueur for the sweet strawberry flavor with some coconut rum to add a tropical flair.

I served this up in a martini glass for presentation, but you could serve it in any glass.

This makes a great Valentine’s Day cocktail, but I can definitely see myself sipping it all summer long, maybe with some frozen strawberries by the pool!

Tips & Variations

Here are a few tips and variations for making a strawberry pina colada.

  • Blend in some strawberries. For a thicker drink, blend the Bailey’s strawberry and cream and coconut rum with frozen strawberries or fresh strawberries and ice.
  • Add some pineapple. To make this into a true strawberry pina colada, you can also blend in some pineapple chunks.
  • What can I use in place of Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream? Any strawberry liqueur will work, like Tequila Rose (which we’ve used in our chocolate-covered strawberry martinis).
  • Use regular rum. Not a fan of coconut? Just use your favorite white rum instead!

Can I Make A Pitcher Strawberry Colada?

Absolutely. If desired, combine the Bailey’s and rum ahead of time in a pitcher. Just multiply the ingredients by the number of servings you want. Keep it chilled in the fridge, then pour it straight into glasses.
