This Princess and the Frog Cocktail is made with sweet melon and green apple liqueurs and apple juice for a sweet but tart Disney-inspired cocktail. Perfect for Halloween or any adult Disney-themed day!
A Fun Disney Inspired Cocktail
The Princess and the Frog is one of Disney’s most underrated movies, if you ask me. It’s one of my favorites in recent years and I love that it shows a side most Disney movies don’t (which is probably why it’s not the most popular). But whether you’re a fan of the movie or not, you can still enjoy this Princess and the Frog Cocktail!
This Disney-inspired cocktail is made with just a few ingredients, namely melon and green apple liqueurs and apple juice. It’s a little tart, a little sweet, but super tasty. The gummy frogs make a nice, appropriate touch too! I think this would make a great cocktail for Halloween.
What You’ll Need
Here are the few ingredients you need for this easy cocktail.
- Liqueurs – I used the Mr. Stack’s brand of Sweet Melon and Green Apple liqueur. The green apple has a mouth-puckering aftertaste that I love! You can use any brand you find, though
- Apple juice – One with reduced sugar is ideal to prevent this from being toooo sweet.
- Gummy frogs – I got mine on Amazon but you may be able to find them in the store.
How to Make a Princess and the Frog Cocktail
This Disney cocktail comes together in just seconds!
- Add the ingredients over ice. Pour the apple juice and liqueur in a bowl over ice. Stir.
- Serve. Garnish the edge of your cocktail glass with the gummy frogs and enjoy.
Can I Make This For a Crowd?
Hosting a party and want to turn this into a big batch cocktail? No problem! Just multiple the ingredients by the number of servings you want and add them to a pitcher or punch bowl. 4 cups of apple juice and 8 ounces of each liqueur is a good starting point. Then pour over ice and add the gummy frogs (or have them around the edge of the pitcher)!
