Recipe Ingredients

  • Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake Roll Ice Cream – This is a new product, and it is to die for! If you aren’t able to find it at your local grocery store, any strawberry or strawberries and cream ice cream will do just fine.
  • Baileys Strawberries & Cream – With a sweet strawberry flavor mixed with Baileys’ classic cream flavor, this is the perfect addition to a strawberries and cream milkshake.
  • Strawberry Milk – You can buy this premade or mix the powder into the milk you already have before adding it.
  • Little Debbie Shortcake Roll – This little treat is the garnish for your strawberry Baileys milkshake.
  • Whipped Cream – Necessary to top off any ice cream treat, am I right?

How to Make a Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake Roll Milkshake

  • Combine ingredients. Put the ice cream, strawberry milk, and Baileys into a blender.
  • Mix. Turn the blender on for one minute.
  • Pour. Move your alcoholic strawberry milkshake into your favorite glass.
  • Garnish. Decorate with whipped cream and top with the shortcake roll.
  • Enjoy!

Tips & Variations

  • Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Milkshake – This is a super simple recipe to convert into a virgin drink. Swap the Baileys for more strawberry milk, and your kids will think they’re enjoying the same drink as you!
  • Cake Shake – If you want a thick strawberry milkshake with more texture, blend the shortcake roll with the other ingredients. You can also consider adding chopped strawberries.
  • Chocolate Lover – If you need a dash of chocolate in your milkshake, mix some chocolate syrup in with the ingredients and/or drizzle it on top of the whipped cream.
  • Strawberry Banana – Everyone knows strawberries, and bananas go together well. Blend a banana in with your ingredients for some added sweetness and hidden health benefits. The riper, the better!

Can I Make Strawberry Shortcake Milkshakes For A Crowd?

Absolutely! You’ll need to make sure your blender can handle it, but this is an easy recipe to double or triple. Rather than 2 scoops of ice cream with 2 oz each of Baileys and strawberry milk, change it to 4 of each when doubling or 6 of each to triple. Follow that same pattern if you need to make more.

Can You Make Strawberry Bailey’s Milkshakes in Advance?

While you can make these delicious milkshakes in advance, it is best to serve them fresh. They only take 60 seconds to blend, so there isn’t much prep work. If you do need to freeze them, you may need to let them thaw some and then blend them again before serving to ensure a good texture. Make sure not to add the garnishes until right before serving.
