Notes
Making Jello Shots with Coconut Rum isn't difficult, but like all Jello shots, there are some tips for making sure these come out perfectly every time.
- Make sure your water is boiling and use it right away. If your water cools down too much, your Jello won't fully dissolve. This will affect both the flavor and the consistency of your Jello shots.
- Don't add too much liquor. While you can play around with the different types of alcohol used, keep in mind that if you increase the amount too much, the jello shots won't set as well.
- These are pretty strong Jello shots. I don't recommend adding more alcohol, but of course, to each their own!
- Use a good quality coconut rum. I really like Malibu because it provides the smoothest flavor but any brand works.
